Hello Bfit,
I think this question has been raised before.
Rare.. well, if its a low volume and numbered car, you may consider it rare.. say only 300 made of 25,000 is rare. Or something like the L88 Corvette is a Rare Car.
Rare could also mean priceless because they just don't exist anymore, or not many examples survive. Its a matter of opinion.
Its like this... when someone the other day said to me, why did a buy a C4 Corvette, when theyre common as dogs kahoonas , when you could have bought my corvette, which there is only 5 in the world. And my first reaction was that I would have just the same amount of fun, for half the price! and:
When you put your car up against any other red corvette (I wont mention the year), to the average person, and not an enthusiast, its all the same, so why would I pay what your asking for it!!
So to cap of the rare question, does it really matter?.. it may give you bragging rights, but in the scheme of enthusiasm, it doesn't bl__dy matter
LOL
