It went for a bargain! Thats an original style race spoiler that the L88 racecars were using back in 69-72! but you can still get them from Guldstrand   http://www.guldstrand.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=46

I dont mind these ones, its the corvette retailer bodykit version ones that arent as good looking!

I have this style on my car. A bit more subtle but still gets more air up where you want it rather than having nothing there:

US$27.00 from http://willcoxcorvette.com/
US$5.00 for the mount kit

It's called an "air dam" and it'll probably take you half an hour at the most to install.

They are standard BUT you very rarely see them. Most yanks have taken them off long before they hit our shores!

I will definately get one of those if I dont like the look of the L88 one on the car.

I found a heap of vintage pics but non of them are colourcoded to the car.

They are suppose to be black, I've never seen a colour coded one! But you could try it and see? Problem is that they're made of flexible plastic.
