A service manual is invaluable for things like this but if you don't have access to one try this website as it may be of some help:

Click on the "looking for something specific" icon, then on the new page enter the year of the car and a keyword for the area where you are looking for a part (eg: interior).  Once you do this and get some options if you click on the parts listed some diagrams are given.

I've found the Eckler's catalogue to be quite good for parts and they have break away diagrams for most things. They're a little expensive though so I'd suggest using them to find the part you want and then try the trio, MidAmerica, Corvette Central and J&D Corvette for the best price (it varies depending on product) .....
