For those with QJets still on their 'vette, go to the "engine" section and scroll to "QuadraJet Tuning Paper".  This is the best explanation regarding QJets I have come across and the author, Lars Grimsrud, knows his stuff!

Those that regard this carb as a "Quadrabog" or "Quadrajunk" - think again.

great article, I must admit I didn't have much time for the QJet except in a NCA original vehicle. I'd still rather  the holley on mine though ...
