Or they charge you tax on it or rent your purchased item to you.

On the subject of Mustangs , every one is entitled to a few mistakes in a life time .

Back on subject here number plates, every car need to have to them to use the roads legally , so my question, how is it that  there's  a separate cost to acquire them.
its not as if the government will utilize the money wisely,
     Oh yes the government sold the plate francize and does not get that  money.   usual government thing, sell that which belongs to the community then change the community for the privilege.
