Wanted C4 L98 Alternator Bracket/carrier.

Yes I have Phill in Seafords number.

But thought I would ask if any one in Sydney has the above bracket.

It is compatable for 85 thru 90 - maybe even up too 93.

It is the bracket at front top LH side of L98 engine.

Helps support and mount the Alternator.

Bfit, I do not think you can solder, weld, plasma or anything else this stuff.

Its a porous, light weight alloy of Alluminium or zink or or or or ?????.....

Has a sand mould texture and finish.

There are a few listed on eBay US .
That looks as if it could be repaired with a aluminium plate.
It looks like someone has been leaving on this an broke it.

Yes your site shows the part required, do the conversion, its about - $150~200 Aus. Part & post.

It's always the way.Four months later. Here's one on eBay. It's in Qld. for $30. Ending in 2 hours.
Another (the one you were after. Though they both say it's for the year model you wanted). for $22 ending in 2 days.
