This is a ride selection involving the shockies.

The ZR1 had this option std, it was also available on Z51 packages for 89, but became std across the board for 90 and utilised a three position switch on the Dash. But I cant find it.

Anyone who has a 90,91 etc which should have  this std feature, if you could get a pic or advise where your switch is located, it would be appreciated.

Most likely another Too Hard basket for the converter, although I cant see why, unless when manufacturing the RHD dash, it was omited !?!?!?!

Any help greatly appreciated.
Regards.

Here's a pic:

It's C3 chromie for me, see? Si!

Vettech

Ahhhhh that is great, you know what they say a picture is worth.

Yes mine has a blank plate in that position.

The car moves sideways when pushed thru rough corners, may need shockies, so I will remove centre consol, maybe (with some luck) the wiring may be still in situ. And this may influence the replacement shockies.!?.....

Thank you very much GTC. I wonder would it be toooo much to ask if any one has a circuit diagram ?????

If wiring is missing and circuit simple enough, I could remake it.........

Regards.

Been surfing for more info, the info I had appears to be incorrect.
Of ~20K cars made only ~1800 had FX3 fitted as an option.

Pics show the shocks have little drive motors on top, driving something!?..

Would assume a control modul or brain would be involved, switch, wiring loom, etc etc

Ummmm - how much do I really need this.... maybe just slow down a little....

1. No Bfit.

2. Yes Ray, Cols is a ZR1.

I had six speed manual butter box (vauxhal) in Uk, it had adjustable ride, could feel no difference, so we did not bother with it.

The Mustang has adjustable steer, definitely makes a difference.

Its got so many features, I'll have to trawl thru the computer screens..... to see if adj ride, might be quicker to look at front shocks !.
