there was a guy buying and importing these a few years back, until the locals offer there became aware of the value of the cars here.
a lot of Holden enthusiast didn't know that a six cylinder  engine in 250 CU was  sold to the south African market in the early 70`s

The Monaro looks like my cousin Philips, cant remember if it was new or one owner when he got it, only difference was his had two big black cop magnets painted front to rear over the lid.

Oh! Nearly forgot, I'm sure his was an eight.

The 4.2 I tink - 253 rings a bell.

Has anyone spotted the 2 piece bumpers on the SA Chev?

There's a join in the middle both front & rear.
