February 13-14 Nelson Bay Weekend Now With Pics

No miss muffit will be waiting a fair while for her pony, give her time to save the readies. I will be driving the pool, yes her side is currently full of water esp the seat, which is lucky because i think thats indicative of leaks in the halo/rollbar rubber atop of the seat. I'll be experimenting with hose maybe tomorrow or when its cool enough. Oh and that honey stuff, someones opened it, be rude to bring that, but there is a darker looking 1lt 40%/vol something John, wonder what that's like?

May be fit a bilge pump to the footwell! All the original corvettes had bilge pumps.

What I need to buy is a fuel pump, I have the pipes and hose, wires, switch. So I can pump out the fuel, after rain it runs like a dog, the cap looks ok, but I wont know untill I get the bottoms out. And your right, my dad was john, his friends called him jack and he was a gentleman, sounds like a good name for a tipple.

I nearly missed it, yes, all the originals had bilge pumps.

Water  leaking into the fuel tank , is that what your saying.
Have you checked the gasket under the filler , I believe you can remove the filler with the the tank in place.

Doug probably your problem is the rubber cup around filler the drain pipe is blocked the cup fills up & water then goes back into tank, blow out the overflow pipe with compressed air then the garden hose

Yes the rubber can cause all sorts of problems , especially if you don't use it.

Hi Everyone.  A very big thanks to a ALL of you who joined us on the Nelson Bay weekend.  Firstly we hope you had a safe and trouble-free trip home and you all enjoyed the weekend as much as Joy & I did, it was a LOT of fun with a great group of people.  Weather was perfect.  Also a "huge" thank you to Col for his part in organising the spit/meat etc for Sat. night (which was delicious) and the Sunday lunch at the Barramundi Farm (a very interesting place to visit),  thanks Col.

The fish weerere interesting to look at, but not HALF as much as they were to eat, that was the best piece of fresh fush I've eaten in a long time, absolutely yummi. In fact I'll have to look at my busy schedule for my next vusit, sorry visit, umm maybe I've been exposed and I've contracted Kiwi-itiss.

the plate size fish turned out to be half a plate size fillet. was a good weekend.
