George.
"B" and I are now booked into the Resort, was surprised that she still had rooms. Now the confirmaton she sent said a two bedoom unit with all self contained - sounds good. Then again they may be giving us a special as the pools are out for - reno's - darn. I was really looking forward to a refreshing swim each morning. Now all  I need is a car that will get me there.

We are Friday
I have seen too many instances where people continue to pursue wrong courses of action because they do not take the time to think critically about what has happened in the past.''

We will be - however that is dependent upon getting the steering column back together - so I'm  hesitant to commit at this stage else we will be in a BA - and a convoy of vetts with a BA tagging along isn't my idea of a good look.,

Friday morning gang  :drivedevil:

Meeting at Thornleigh Macas at 9:30 for a 10:00 departure for a leisurely 4hr drive north. With a few stops on the way.

Looking forward to catching up with jagsy, Mick and a few other members up north.  :thumb:

jagsy has suggested a Saturday morning brunch run to Corowa dam for the ones that may be slightly under the weather from the meet and greet night.  :shades: sounds like a good idea to me.

Forgot to ask, Vettech how are you going with your car?

Yeah 72Vett - have the SW column back good enough to go (no horn though) - now I  have to put "her" door back together - at this stage we will go Thursday night to Bateau Bay and on your timings we should see you at the Wyong road turnoff at ~1030ish. That of course, is on my driving times - I  know some of you guys don't like to hurt your cars by driving them tooooo fast. Just keep an eye open for the "Blue Flash".

Ladies & Gents - I  would like to say that "B" and I  had a good break, your company was appreciated, I'm really glad that in the final wash, 72vette made the Sunday Show day and won an award. It's  a pity that Gary had to leave early and missed showing his car. Also a big vote of apprecition for 72vettes persistance, knowledge and abilities in finding, fixing and getting Gary roadworthy for the return trip to Sydney - a "bloody good job well done". Plus a thank you to the local Port guys for the invite, and organizing they were involved in.  Thanks one and all.

Thanks Vettech, for the over exaggerated kind words, but I'll take them.  :thumb:
The club, as it is at the moment, If a member requires assistance/help it's always to be found.

Conditions heading to Port Mac on Friday were quite dangerous for a convoy of seven cars to assist every time Gary & Deb's car needed help so it was better for some to leave.
Then it was three. Gary & Deb with the fuel issue, myself and Sharon with Neil and Deb in the cover vehicle. Those two in the cover car must have had nerves of steel to sit there like woodducks with cars & BIG trucks hurtling down the freeway, trying to protect the little blue corvettes! To the locals in Port Mac. Mick and Jagsy.  Thank you for your help over the weekend guys. Much appreciated.

Don't  fret Sabre.  As I  said earlier, your white would beat that one hands down. And the blue is like the girl sorry woman at the end of the bar - looks great from afar or in a pic - but get up close and "WHOA" ....... obviously seen better days a long time ago.

Hey sabre, I think the guy at the show is local to Port and I understand he has more than 2.  I thought someone mentioned he had 12, but that might not be true!!!!
