Hi Ben
The corvetteforum rave about the Haltech Beehive (might be 2 l's and not the engine management company).  There do a version that runs without tuning and one that needs a tune.  There current versions relocates the MAF sensor to the front of the air box too for better MAF readings.

I was lucky enough to have the car come with one, it's one that doesn't need a tune and pre the MAF relocation.

LOOKS great, it's bigger than OEM and gets rid of the corrugated bellows into the throttle body.

Does it make a difference, no idea it's been on the car since I got it but the guys in the US think they do :)

Ben,

Not sure about the Vette one however I recently fitted a new O.T.air intake to my HSV 6.2 and went with the option that kept my MAF sensor. Little noticeable difference in power gain, that was until I then had the HSV Dynoed and remapped. Then it all came into play :thumb:

Hey Jagsy if you have the beehive one you can by the shroud seperate sounds like it has some good advantages, can buy it not in carbon to and save about $600 for the full package intake and shroud  http://www.mtiracing.com/halltech-super-bee-mf103-ram-air-induction-c6-ls3-08-11-and-z06.html

Hi Ben
Tip I have the intake and the shroud :))

Helps reduce the hot air from the intake.
