I just fitted a new after market headlight switch which I will now remove and solder the contacts,I did notice it got hot straight away.

No worries. I figured everyone should know this since theres a lot of people on here restoring vettes.

I'll be doing the same when I come around to putting my dash back together.

Seems doing something so simple can make such a massive difference to protect our pride and joy!.
