I have drewelled over that car many times. It was in fact my desktop pic on more than one occasion!

It's funny that you should mention it as being an inspiration for your car, as I had dreamed of it many times myself.

To go off topic for a moment, the pic below is the main inspiration for my current project - except mine will be red for a while! Final color is undecided...

Owner says its a 71. I've emailed him before to discuss things like his wheel profile etc. Seems to be a decent bloke.
