Its Saturday the sun's out, the Vettes running sweet on a two lane road i see a prius (doing 70 in an 80 zone)  in the distance I go in the right lane to overtake as i go past the driver gets on and off the gas kangarooing the car and gives me the loser signal, I nearly died ive never ever had anyone put my car down before.

I wasnt speeding or driving aggesively either!

Are V8's to be the new hated thing in this so called environmentally friendly world ?

If anything i was taking it slow doing a test run after getting the car aligned from the install of my new VBP suspension kit.

anyone else had this before ?

i got a full kit package and let me tell you the difference was HUGE !!!

its called the street and slalom kit it cost just below 2K landed in AU with taxes

I have had one of those kits (along with a complete bushing kit and front end rebuild kit) sitting in my garage for 8 months now. I have been too lazy to put it in......;36 too busy driving the C4 ;46

What rear spring rate did you go with, was it the standard 360 lb/in? Also are you using rubber bushings or poly?

I really should get around to fitting that kit I have heard what a difference it makes.

and yes the spring is a 360lb and i used poly bushing right through and she drifts nicely now.

just make sure you get the car aligned properly

Little do Prius owners know that to make the Prius it has a huge pollution footprint! The batteries are made in China and create heaps of toxic polution! Also The car will in no way last as long as the vette! The Prius life would probably be only 20 years max (mine is 38 years old!) before its scraped ..... then you buy a new one which has wasted lots of precious resoures! These idiots dont realise the energy that it takes to make a car. Think of our vettes as recycling cars! I wish I was there! I would have given him something to talk about!
