Black 1976 (New member intro) in Victoria

Hi guys/girls...

I'm Allan, I just registered to these forums, I was introduced to them by a NSW member I met on the corvetteforum site and thought i'd come stick my head in.

I have a Black 1976 Stingray with firethorn interior - it's a daily driver and is heaps of fun, turns lots of heads as I'm sure everyone is used to themselves.

I'm located in country Victoria, about an hour or two west of melbourne.

Anyway, heres some pics:

In the pic of the rear the pipes drop down and look stupid. It was like that when I got it and they now come out straight. I have to take better pics. These are the only pics of the car I have.

Not a member of any car clubs.

To be honest, I can't see te benefit. The closest "chevy" or "corvette" club is a couple hours away. Locally we only have general light car clubs that I'm aware of.

Are you aware of the event at Albury Feb next year? A few of us are going. My parents live near Beachworth and VO and myself are staying there. If your in the neighbourhood we could catch up.CLICK ME to go to the thread on said event.

Custom plates are $400 in Victoria.

As far as the show, I won't be there. Too far away for me. I live in Country Vic, very small township not far from Ballarat. About 2hrs west of melbourne. IE: Aulbury is a fair hike away
