I'm practising uploading pictures guys.

joe when i upload the picture tell me exactly what i do there again please?do i right click on photo or 3rd line down or both or the question mark

MADLT1, your photos did not show because:  On the first post you forgot the image tag at the end, like:  .jpg[/img]

On the second photo, you forgot the first part of the image tag at the front, like:  [img]  you have this...  img]

I fixed one of them, and the photo is really HUGE, and you would not want to post it.  If you like, you can delete a post by clicking on "edit", and then click in the box in front of the words "delete this message," and then click on "edit post." then the entire post will be gone. You can remove each one that way, and start fresh.  Hope this helps...;42

[align=justify]How to post your picture.

First go to the site where your picture is hosted.  Find your picture and right click on it.  A window will open.  In that window you will find the word "Properties", left click on it.  Another window will open with the word "Address" with a stack of numbers and letters next to it that should look something like this example here:-http://www.nswcorvettes.com.au/forum/images/onepoint9/bb_image.jpg.  This is known as the URL address.  Hi-light ALL of URL address by putting the cursor just in front of the first letter, left click and hold the left button down, drag you mouse over all of the URL address with the left button still held down.  All of the URL address should now be hi-lighted, usually blue.  Now type "Ctrl" "c"   this copies the URL.

Secondly, do not use the quick reply feature at the bottom of screen when replying to a post in this forum.  Use the at the bottom of the thread you are going to post in.  This will give you access to the Advance Reply Window.

Start typing your message in the text box.  Now when you want to post a picture simply put your cursor where you want the image to appear, click on the image button .  This will open up a small window where you enter in the URL address of the picture.  Since previously you copied the URL address by doing the "Ctrl" "c", to enter the URL address you now only have to type "Ctrl" "v".  This will automatically enter the copied URL address in for you.  Click ok and it will automatically put in the image tags for you.

Your image is now ready to be posted.

Note:-  If ya get thisinstead of your picture then it's because there is a problem at photobucket not here or what you have done.

Now ya getting it.  I have placed a thread in the "how to section", at the bottom of the forum home page, that is a copy of my post on how to upload pics.  That way if ya forget you can always go back there and have a look.
