Personally, I would not recommend Corvette Queensland.  I purchased my 82 Collector from them and they did not fix all the items argeed upon prior to my pruchasing the car.  They have poor customer service, never call you back or up-date you on how the work is going.  My car did not pass Blue slip inspection like I wanted it to and I was out of pocket for many other items.  I have heard other members say the same thing about them.

I would try Melbourne's Corvette Clinic or maybe someone else who can do a good job.  Good luck on finding a converter.

I know you were looking close to home ,Im not sure who is better or not ,but all work should be to your likeing  thats why they have warranties ,once the job is done make shore you pick up  the the car with a person who knows.

Thunder Kiss

I could be wrong, but I'm under the impression you don't need to get a RAWS accredited converter to do the conversion if the car was brought into the country as a "personal import" (i.e. you bring in a car you have owned and used overseas for one year or more).

MJ427

yes thats correct if u owned the car for at least 12 months while living there u dont need raws if thats so i would recommened u talk to jeff at torque conversions in nsw i havent heard a bad thing about a conversion to come out of his shop

I understand Kane from Corvette Clinic is also doing C4 conversions.  They aren't near QLD but they are another option.

If you can, try talking to a few owners of cars from a convertor before you bite the bullet and send your car to them.

Yup, don''t know if he can still do a '90 onward car under the new rules, but his work is among the best.  3395 0726.
