The club secretary commented to me at the last meet that the sections on guys building cars had been quiet and had lost a bit of interest.  So with this section being quiet and me not having anything of great interest to post here on my project I went looking.

I know MJ has seen this but thought I would show you guys and girls.

The guy writes:-

It is an old race/auto cross car. It is just going to be a street car when I am done. IF I am ever done.

We welded up all the chassis seams and put gussets on the frame in the back, the motor mounts and control arms. More or less we did all the old school mods from that old GM Chevrolet Power Service Manual.

The transmission is a Viper 6-speed from Keisler. They say 650 hp on their site. We dynoed the 672 on our dyno and it made 672 hp. When I ordered it, I was assured it would hold up. I guess I'll find out one of these days!

It's a nice job don't ya think?

I'll try to keep this section a little more active. :}
