Hey, does anyone know any good panelbeaters? Some guy reversed into my c3 in a carpark, the rear fender has several cracks along the wheelwell as well as a crack along the seam.

ARGH!

No, not this time, I wasn't at fault so I may as well get it done properly... I found a guy in Kingswood who seemed happy to get the job (a lot of panelbeaters dont want to know about fibrglass).

It sucks but need to keep these things in perspective...:b2

It's a daily driver so I gues the chances for accidents is greater...;ay

But oyu know the freakiest thing is that it happened at the same place, same time of day and also a few days before the school holidays like last time. Yea, I wont be going back there anymore either....

I know this might not be what you want to hear but it doesn't look to bad as it is in a full panel & hasn't gone near the edges. It is always easier to repair glass when this is the case. Just make sure the guys get the lines straight & leave the surface ripple free. It is a good idea to leave the part of the car just repaired in primer for at least 1 month before spraying colour as you will be able to see it in different lights to make sure you have a good job.

Looks like a great chance to fit flares to me.

Bummer!  I hope they are paying for the repairs.

While you are fitting flares you may as well fit a 6 link!  ;--

And if you can't do either of those you could always sell your C3 and buy a C4.;--

Ouch! :mmm

Yikes!  Sorry to see a C3 get hurt but it doesn't look all that bad from the picture.  Make sure you talk to someone who knows how to do the job correctly and also how to paint it correctly.  I would ask for a new panel to be put in rather than repair that one.

Don't know if your vette is fixed yet, but if you email panther on this forum he know a lot about fibreglass repair, and I've seen his work. He may have some useful tips.:);):);):D For what it's worth i am buying his 86 this week I hope, and the work he done on that vette is excellent.
Found them, I reckon some RAT hid them.
