We run the engines in on an engine jig my builder has and then off to Orange to dyno her and make the necessary adjustments on air fuel etc.  Then we transplant

I wonder which  is the best way to go
Is it better to have your engine blow up on a dyno or  some where down the 1/4 mile.
What happened to the times of run it,  pull the plugs make your best estimate and adjust fuel timing etc.
observing what the engine is telling you,

When she runs sweet ( a little dark in the exhaust )  its all good.
When it goes F&n bang  it time to start over again.

Valve train all buttoned up

All parts etched labeled for future reference

Valley cover buttoned up

We also buttoned up the intake manifold.  That's all the top done.  Flip her over tomorrow and bolt up the sump.  Getting excited :evilone:

Attached pic has the jig blurred out.  John, my engine builder, keeps his cards close to his chest
