Newbie Help
« on: March 18, 2013, 01:20:00 AM »
Hi Guys
As the subject says I am a "newbie" to both this forum and Corvette ownership. I  acquired a '78 coupe in January and it has now been complied, blue slipped and registered. I have only done 150 miles in it and am still finding it a bit strange steering from the 'passenger' side but heaps of fun. That's the 'newbie bit out of the way, now the help bit. I have blown a front indicator bulb and am unable to find an orange twin filament bulb (Osram part No 1157A) here in Armidale. Are there any suppliers in Aus or will I have to get them from the US? Any help greatly appreciated.

What configuration is the pins on the base of old globe - straight or offset. I think Ponti World in Albion Pk has them for US cars. Alternatively get a twin filament clear globe with correct pin orientation & buy a bottle of orange lense paint  for about $7 & paint up a few spares
