Door Panel removal
« on: September 30, 2012, 10:57:20 AM »
Hi,
How the hell do you remove the door panel on a 69 model???
Im so f@#kin frustrated that a simple job should be so difficult.
Ive removed all the screws but i cant remove the door lock switch. I would asume it is a push on pull of item as there are no visable screws in it.
Help please, befor i set my car on fire!!

Same as a crank window handle, but with a smaller C clip

Make your self a tool
What you need is
A 12" rule. With a rounded end one end
Drill a 13mm hole in the rounded end 14mm centre from the end
Cut the hole straight to the end so you have a U shape
13 mm wide
Use this to push the clip out
