HER 1969 T-Top
« on: August 15, 2012, 10:46:20 AM »
My build is in the RESTO section, so i thought i had better put HERS in the Modification section.

Her 69 was a 350 auto in cortez silver with green interior:rol:

Now it is 454 4 speed white with red interior. This one is going to be of driver quality and just tidy and rebuild things as we go. Allready have the interior pulled out for new carpet and some dash work.

Started the strip down for inside clean up.

And the back, the rest of the pics are crap is they were taken in the shed with to much light outside, but here is the back, not to keen on the tail lights :?

Then it was outside for the clean with the wire wheel on the grinder. Then the step 1 as i mentioned before.

Then it was time for step 2.

This is a close up and it should look like this.

That's a lot of work!  Well done.  It's always rewarding when that black goes on.   :thumb:

yep i recon they look hot with the top of, mainly due to the new grease nipples on the upper ball joints

So far NO rust anywhere on the chassis or cage that i have seen even in the number 2 and 4 body mounts, and i have taken the dash out. :shades:
