Hi
For those who have had or those who are having a car converted left to right hand drive do you have problems getting a completion date from your converters????

Very frustrating

The answer is "how long is a piece of string"

So why is that they are so disorganised?

I thinks it's amazing that they don't even know when the piece of string will begin

Thanks but why can't the converters tell us this?

At least then expectations wouldn't be shattered.

When you have power you can do what u want.
As each Australian state has different rules on
what you can and cant do regarding conversions
and usage eg 90 days usage permit in VIC and SA.
That sucks for us NSW's.I know their good but why
are we getting our nsw cars converted by Queenslanders.
Seems to contradict our separate situations. Why cant
P...max have an outlet in NSW. doing for our Rules.
Yes I have my own opinion about destroying a perfectly
balanced brand new beast just for the sake of it..

Conversion was due to start in the last week of November (well actually it was suggested October but I won't mention that).

For the last month I've asked if the car was in the workshop. "I believe so" I was told. So I asked several times is that definitely yes?

After pressure calls this week they decided to start yesterday.

So I guess the answer was no!!!

I said that was disappointing to have not been told the truth. They said it was a "break disown in communication".

I laughed. NOT.

So after nearly 4 months of not being with the car I asked to see it this Saturday and have been told I can't.

Come during business hours they say, geeeez as though Saturday morning is a big inconvenience!!

Excellent customer service eh!

Mate I don't think kicking them will work as I am not sure they are bothered.

I just hope the quality of the product is excellent and I just want my car!!

Watch this space for the next experience.

jag you could be rite there
I would think the incentive of being paid  would  be enough to get the job finished  in  a reasonable  time frame

jagsy you need to put your concerns or complaints in writing to performax, by that I mean you formally request a completion date so you can get on with living your dreams yadda, yadda, yadda and that way if they don't respond in an appropriate manner you can forward it onto MTA / Consumer Affairs or who ever is responsible to overseeing these pople in QLD otherwise verbals are worth jack shyte :mad::mad:

They lie and customer service is shyte.

I expect their lawyers will again close this thread down.
