Cooling Fan Motor Suppliers???

Hi All,

Finally have my first Vet up and running...awesome!!!

Has 2 thermo fans instaed of origional. One has died and am trying to source a new motor.

YDK Model Y-706

Have combed the net but cant find a supplier.

Their is a YDK website but have had no responce.

Any thoughts???

Hi Baz,

I’m guessing that the fans are on a C3, looking at your previous post.
If one motor has died, perhaps the other one might not be too far of croaking it as well.

I’m running Fex  a Lite fans on mine. Part #210 Dual, they fit between the tanks on the Rad quite well. Purchased them locally

it is a 70 454

aluminium Rad..something yanky...really good fan set up.

Will try to source some new motors before looking at other options.

Put thermo fan on Ebay you will find hundreds to choose from

Just had a look at Ebay  No 190569010400 Jethro on here has similar ones to these I fabricated a fan shroud from black colour bond steel draws heaps of air really easy to make a shroud. Fans fit between radiator & upper control arms no problem. Im sure Jethro will put up a pic

I've never seen just the motors on sale before. Looked at the Davies Craig web site and there they were. Don't know if they're compatible with you set up 'though.
