C3 chassis
bfit:
thank you
Looking forward to some more postings
wabco40 those photos look extraordinarily tidy
I have been trying to contact Streetshop my email missed them on a phone call today will try earlier tomorrow .
I do like the look of there chassis .

The mod to your chassis looks excellent
I would like to go with a stronger chassis than the standard vette as I think with a reasonable amount of Hp the chassis will flex far to much For a glass bodied car.

I have just realized that the photos are of a street shop
chassis
Still very tidy
I could live with something like that under one of my corvettes

I don't think you would have to worry about the original chassis flexing even with a large HP engine.
The advantage of the Street Shop chassis is that it is made to be fitted with later suspension components where an original chassis has to be fitted with an aftermarket suspension.
The quality of the welds on an original chassis are a bit average as well. Before I had my chassis blasted and powder coated I grinded and re-welded most of them. The welds on the rear kick-up and brace where extremely poor.
