1964 "Bloomington Gold Awarded" C2 up for auction
« on: January 30, 2011, 01:36:41 AM »
"A striking, vibrant Riverside red on red 'Ray, this 300bhp, 327ci matching numbers Corvette was imported around three years ago from a private collection in Michigan. Restored in the mid-eighties it went on to win awards at the famous Bloomington Gold Corvette show in the late eighties, though now it is showing some signs of wear to its paintwork.

As listed on the supplied build sheet, factory options include: two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission, Power steering, windows and vacuum brakes, with the most expensive option being the 'Quick take off' cast alloy wheels.

Included in the sale is a photographic file detailing its restoration. This is a lovely example of an early Sting Ray with the all important matching numbers driveline and interesting history.

The vehicle is currently unregistered, if sold in NSW a current blue slip will be supplied."
