I drive my Vette in winter with the roof down so the heater does come in handy. Might look at valves to turn it off for summer.

i have never needed to use it either. my missus is always complaning about being cold, she would carry a heater with her everywhere if she could. but once she sits in the vette and the engine is warmed up, even she says its warm inside from the heat of the engine/exhaust

I am in Canberra and I used mine just last week.

Why not just put some water shutoff taps in the line to stop the flow completely if heat is an issue or is it more for cleaning up the engine bay ?

I am looking to clean up my 71's engine bay as well (at some time) so I got one of these to remove the huge AC box.

I still want a heater though :-)
