What a weekend;27 The drive north was miserable and wet;
 by the time we arrive at South bank the conditions, ideal & clear sky’s

Friday night, off to a local restaurant for dinner to misbehave ever so slightly.

Saturday morning, we were greeted by George and Bill from  Downunder Corvette's who escorted us to Sand Gate for breaky fantastic location.

After breaky we had a few hours to kill, sightseeing to Red cliff was on the cards.

Then it was back to the Sapphire Resort to add a bit of polish to our cars. There were some of us that got carried away with it :mmm

Saturday evening again, very well organized by The Downunder club, we were picked up from our hotel by mini buses and taken to The Victoria Park golf complex for dinner along with a few rounds of golf.

Sunday, Show n Shine Day

After a long day we all decided to have a quiet one at the resort with a Pizza and beer night.

The drive home was a bit slow due to roadworks.

 It's a small world ,we ran into Smithy007 in his new HSV

Most enjoyable weekend  & thanks to the Downunder club for organizing a great weekend and I’m sure we will be back next year to take more trophies down south.

Congratulations to the trophy winners looks like you guys did OK, who won what, lots of roadworks to slow everybody down, I was travelling in opp. direction when you were going up to Qld. Looks like you had good weather for show & an enjoyable time.
