Rubber or Polyurthane?????

<< < (2/2)

77CVT:
I had poly in the '77 since 2 1/2 years ago and no squeaks, no problems.  I would imagine they may squeak in a cold climate but it's never happened to me in winter.

Use grease when installing and buy the graphite impregnated ones (Energy Suspension).

Cheers

MR 69ER:
Thanks Fellas I have just ordered the poly ones from Zip and should see them in a week or so. I thought poly was better but thought it a safer bet to throw it to you guys to chirn it around.

Cheers

Brutus:
Steve...Did you order the poly boots for the ball joints and tie rods as well? They're a very good addition while you're under there doing the front end. Sure beats watching the old rubber ones deteriorate where the poly ones would last for years longer.
