Fiberglass Workshop day
« on: September 03, 2008, 07:31:26 PM »
Who out there has never played around with Fiberglass?

Richard Stones has offered to run a day on the basics of repairing fiberglass panels,
Stress fractures, Spare wheel carriers, etc

It’s a hands on day so for the ones out there that like a challenge & would like to be involved in applying fiberglass sheets & resin, grinding, sanding, etc or to just listen in and help out with the BBQ you will be most welcome.

Richard at present is building a C4 stretch Limo and will have the roof section of the limousine ready for us to apply our fiberglass skills too.

There is a limited amount of disposable overalls & respirator masks available, if you could bring your own overalls & masks along it would be a great help.

Location:  Windsor

Date:         TBA, if there’s enough interest.

Contact:    Richard        0407 414 892   Or      Nick          0411 126 383

Pencil the date into your diary guys. Saturday 22/11/08

Time:           8:30

Location:    Windsor

Richard has asked that the number be limited to 15 people - that way everyone will get the opportunity to cover themselves in Resin & Fiberglass.

Any C3 owners that have spare wheel carriers in need of attention bring it along with you so you can have the opportunity of repairing it yourself.

The guys that have shown interest on the Forum please confirm that you will attend on the 22nd November as I’d like to advertise the day in next months club magazine & I’m sure we will get a few more from that.

Richard has offered to hold another day for the ones that miss out on this one.

The day will be held at his home, so for the obvious reason I will U2U the address to all attendees & the ones that are not registered on the Forum expect a phone call or contact

Richard  0407 414 892  or  Nick   0411 126 383

Sorry Sirfixalot,
It’s the only date that was available this year.

There will be another day in the New Year which will be held on a Sunday.
