Have to be impressed by all the work - but I just don't like it! Too many thing I'd want to change. Still wouldn't say no if it was handed to me!

if it IS a real L88,he has just devalued it by doing what he's done to it...would be worth more stock....

I don't mean to offend anyone here, but did anyone notice the claim that total rotisserie restoration cost $175000....but the buy it now price is $141900?????

Before anyone parts with their "cabbage" for this "L88", you'd certainly want to see the documentation and check its numbers.

As has been posted on another thread, there are more XYGTHO Ph3 Falcons and GTR XU1's on the road today than Ford and Holden actually manufactured.

FWIW, it has been written/quoted in many Corvette books etc that GM/Chevrolet only produced 20 1967 L88's.

The last 67 L88 that I recall being sold was a Red/blk one back in Oct'04. It was bought by Roger Judski(who owns the Yellow 69 ZL1) of Rogers Corvettes in Orlando Florida, for approximatley $840,000US. IIRC Roger has two 67 L88's in his collection, as well as a 68 L88.

If interested his collection can be seen here: http://www.rogerscorvette.com/collection.htm

One of the visiting US NCRS judges mentioned to me at Sandown in 2006 that the US NCRS currently have details recorded on approximately 46 or 47 1967 L88's, some with duplicate VIN's!!!

If Mike Mueller and the Corvette Black book are correct that  GM minted only 20 1967 L88's, it seems there may be 26 or 27 owners that are going to be very unhappy to learn they may have a "fake" L88 in their garage.
