Need new plug for HEI dizzy
« on: April 19, 2008, 12:31:50 AM »
Okay guys, where do you reckon I can buy the 3-way plug that runs from an HEI dizzy to the coil? I need one to replace an existing one that's loose because it had a broken clasp.

The plug contains 3 brass female crimp-on spade connectors.

I've given up trying to get sense out of American automotive suppliers on this. They are clueless.

In the pic below it's the black plug at the end of the 3 wires. Surely I don't have to buy the complete module for the sake of a plug?

It's C3 chromie for me, see? Si!

I take back what I said about the Americans. One has come good with the very part. It's pictured as item 40850 on this page.

It is the complete loom from module to distributor cap. It is the only way you can get the end connector;48

I think the website is a work in progress. I was pointed to them by a guy in the USA.

Here's another one:

Cam: Yes, I'm after the plug only. There is nothing wrong with the trigger module, so I don't want to replace that for the sake of the plug.

Chromie: Looks like Kendricks supply the plug as a separate unit. I'll drop them a line to confirm.
