Sorry, New to forum When I looked last in subject description/message of what I wrote was wrong was still here? anyway here I go again>>
The new Vette I bought has steering wheel movement. As though who ever used it used to lever off the steering wheel when getting out of car.... The steering column / wheel moves /flex's in the column. Is this a common thing in Right hand conversion with Vettes? The car has a mirror conversion completed by Corvette Clinic in QLD.

Hi Jethro;42
Your problem is common with corvettes with tilt columns;30, your tilt pivots are worn or the column is loose internally, remedy is to get your steering column serviced/repaired by someone who knows what to do and has done them before. Often the hubs where the column pivots has to be sleeved.
Hope this helps:x

Sounds like a fix. I'm from Wollongong can you advise whom I should contact to rectify the issue?

Try USGM Service Parts

Ph: 02 4257 1230 (9-4pm)
Fax 02 4257 8042 (24hrs)

This is a spare parts place down that way but they should know who in the area can help you out.
