I read somewhere that there is an rhd version of the c5 to be released in the next year(s)... is this true? cause, my dad, the legend he is, is considering getting one and importing it back to australia when the time comes ;35

According to a GM rep who attended the Canberra National Convention recently, the rumor that HSV or GMH will be importing C5's in any form and selling them for local consumption is untrue.

At any rate, given that the C5 will be replaced by the new C6 in a short while it would hardly be a wise business decision for HSV or GMH to invest in setting up for C5's given the quantity they would sell for the remainder of the models lifespan.

The short version:  I don't think it will happen.
