Please note the car get  basic service on a regular basis (evry2 months).

my list so far is the following if you think i should include other areas please do not hesitate to mention it

*all hoses
*oil
*water level
*tyres pressure
*Gearbox oil level
*Brake Fluid oil
*check spark Plugs
*Belts
*engine compression
*brakes

Is that enough ?

thanks

Don't forget to check the spare tyre and that you have all the associated tools that go with it. I allways pack a basic tool box including a pair of gloves and a small mat before i go on a road trip.
NOW WE'RE TORQUING!

Also don't forget ya air filter and it 's worth taking a suitable bottle for water with you just in case and a rag incase you have to open a hot radiator cap.

Ensure wind screen washer bottle is full.  You would be surprised how often this is forgotten about especially during this lack of rain.  On that note check ya wiper blades etc.

Check condition of auto transmission cooling hoses
Check brakes for wear and leaks
Check front and rear suspension for wear/play
Check lights for operation
Check for any oil leaks
Check charge rate
Check tyres for damage/scrubbing/wear
Check wiper blades and operation including washers
Check exhaust for security/holes/cracks
and finally check wiring make sure it is not too close to the exhause or were it can rub throught something sharp.
