No........ honest.   I had it on one of my other machines years ago.  The water pump was just not moving enough water and the EFFECT was thatof water hammer. :22

there was no indication it had a filter.....ironicly all the hoses were undone...except this one....he's thinking about putting a fillercap in the top hose as the current fillercap on radiator is below the top hose,meaning its not getting full coolant level.or maybe filling via the overflow bottle.
