Spectator Gates Open 8:30AM (Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th December)
Qualifying begins 1PM (Tuesday December 26th)
Eliminations begin 1PM (Wednesday December 27th)
Night-tro Passes:
5pm, 7pm & 9pm both Days.


Pricing:
Tickets are available NOW telephone (02) 9672 1320, credit card payments accepted plus $6 postage.

BOXING DAY TUESDAY (26th December)
Adults - $50
12-16 Years and Aged Pension - $40
WEDNESDAY (27th December)
Adults - $50
12-16 Years and Aged Pension - $40
TWO DAY TICKET PACKAGE
Adults - $90
12-16 Years & Aged Pension $70
Kids under 12 - FREE
Convenience Parking $10

Well VO, Michelle and myself went on Tuesday.  Onya and few of the lads were there as well.


Just for you MADLT1 some pics.........and videos.

Michelle and I got there early to get a good spot.




The track was prept and ready to go...............






And some others were there early to get good spots too.






The pits were full.............






So I wanderd down to get some pics before the crowds got in.






A nice mean Vette..........






With plenty of grunt up front.






Some mean looking hogs were there.  Don't cry Bill ;39






Built for speed not comfort.........






















Mind you, you could pull up next to this one at the lights and get a surprise.








Now this thing is designed to suck Air in a big way.

For those in the know you all should know this motor.  Love to get him to build me one.






This is one of our forum members, Sammut_Motorsports, and soon to join the club.  Also, what a small world it is.  One of his pit crew use to, and still does, works for Murrys old business.  Can you see who it is Murry?










There were also a couple of Funny Car Vettes in the group.  Not Transams as someone thought. ;39

While I was there I spoke to WSID management about parking.  Club members who want to watch the drags can take there Vettes[/u] to the drags and park them here.  








Obviously you still have to pay entry.  I couldn't get us out of that one. ;30 ;39

I know not all club members are into drag racing but for those that are, how about we get a group together at the next decent WSID event and show off our beasts with a small display.  We can camp right next to them to keep an eye on them.  For no other reason it makes getting away easier. :22

The day we went was only qualifying but his beast pulls damm hard.  Hopefully he'll drop in and let us know how he went.

Hi Guys,

We ran an 8.2 at 161mph, which was good enough to qualify 2nd in ss/a. We have recently rebuilt the motor and are chasing the best combination. Had a great time chatting to some club members on the day, look forward to see more of you guys out there
