Rebuilding a C3 Clock
« on: December 19, 2006, 03:43:49 PM »
I've got a '76 and the clock doessn't work.

If I fiddle with the adjuster knob the clock will start ticking, but then it will stop a little later. So I'm guessing it's not completely stuffed, but on it's way.

Has anyone here pulled a C3 clock out?
Is there much to them?
Are they easy to rebuild/repair?
Is there any online guides that teach how to?

Thanks.

Allan

Hi demonx
I would fit a quartz clock kit or assembly ;27 rather than try to repair the original one. As the original one's are not that reliable;37

Thanks for the help.

I was hoping to be able to repair the original one, but I think a quartz is probably te better option.

Will look into ordering one soon once this mad season has passed.
