Hi Gang.

This event is the Australia Vs USA/New Zealand.

Blown Alcohol, Worlds fastest K boats and as an added attraction

Brand new 250mph Nitro Drag Hydro boat from the USA.

Our club has been invited to do the  Parade for the boat Drivers.  There was a great show of hands at the club meeting of people who want to attend.

As more information comes to light I'll let you all know.  So mark this one down in your Diary.

Our club will be taking the drivers for a parade lap at this event as well as having an assigned parking/display area.

The area we have been given has a capacity of 30 cars, this being the case we are asking that you contact either myself (Andrew - 0409 043 473) or Jenny (0425 310 178) to let us know you intend on coming on the day so that we can keep a list of who is coming and make sure we are not oversubscribed on the day.

First in best dressed for this one folks.  ;42

At present the list I have has some spaces left.

I'll be touching base with Jenny & Murray tomorrow to verify if they have any additional names to the ones taken at our last meeting and over the phone.

If you are planning on coming and do not have you on the entrant list please let me know (409 043 473) or post here.

We only have 30 parking spaces available in the area for our club.  Priority will be given to those who have indicated that they are coming.

*** Update 22/12/06 ***

We have just been advised by the organisers of this day that while drivers get free entry as part of attending on this day, passengers will be asked to pay the spectator entry fee ($25).

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

If this change will affect your attendance and you are on the list please let me know. ;42

We had a great turnout and day today folks.  27 cars and great weather and an enjoyable, laid back day.

The boats sounded amazing. ;46

I'll second that Andy.

Was one fine fun day.  Love the smell of race fuel early in the morning.  Woo Hoo.  We got to do this again.

Many thanks to the Windsor boat club and NSW Corvettes members who organised the invite. ;42
