Have to post this one for Chris. These are quite different from anything I've seen before.

I quite like the colour too.

I knew I had seen those before, that car was just in the auction at the January NCRS meet in Orlando.

Yeah Scott I thought you might have spotted them in your travels considering the pic was taken in Fl.
Did you get a chance to look at them closely at all?

When I first bought my vette and was wondering how to express this `rebel' thing through the car, I saw an Eckler's catalogue with that kit and a finned bonnet on a red 82 similar looking to mine. I ABSOLUTELY fell in love right and there and ran around the house with the mag yelling, "that's it! that's it!!"

Then I saw one on a Canadian '80 at the Bella Vista show and it wasn't quite what I thought in the flesh (well Fibreglass) - unless it was another brand's after market or something. Looked OK on "that" car at the show mind you and I'm not sledging it, but it wasn't me, a bit too bulky and heavy looking.

Anyway, the point of this post comes back to the pic here which I think looks fantastic!!

Yeah I wanted to do skirts like that on mine, but I've gone and modified a spare tail piece which will do part of the job and the side pipes I've yet to fit will take care of the side skirt idea. Now all I have to do is design a suitable front end spoiler, but I might do the flares first. One day.....:b2

Just as well you don't carry a mobile (sorry...cell) phone with you. I can just imagine him calling you every day on that as well as at home. ;laugh
