Yes Chromie,

The meeting place and details are as posted. Here is the link;

"The date has been proposed for the 12 November 2006 from our Club House to Appin. I know (This is currently clashing with our club run to Terentinos Restaraunt) sorry- this was the date provided, however, for those who would want to do a run down south please read on.

This is not definate.. so just read on... still need numbers and confirmation.

The proposal is to meet at the Club House at Greenacre, at ( ie: the Grey Hound Club) at 8.00am with a 8.30am departure. Both Clubs to meet at same place.

Then those who have gatherd would then head off to Heathcote ( via alfreds point road -through menai )where we will all meet at the Caltex servo for top up.

Then we head off through to helingsburg and then stanwell park and meet up at Scarborough (a sealed parking area) for pics with the other club. Then head off through Bulli and Bulli pass to Appin ( Appin Hotel - plenty of parking and good visibility of cars) for Lunch and drinks and a great atmsophere."

12 November Sunday 2006

We now have a confirmed booking for 20 persons at the Appin Hotel... and can add a few here and there.

I have just been speaking with the Secretary of the XU-1 Club and theyre looking forward to a combined trip. ;46

So far the weather looks enticing... fingers crossed. :}

Oh.. if the weather is bad, I have been advised the run is still on ;27 for those who want to do the scenic run, or you can meet us at the Appin Hotel around 11am.

Just a heads up 69vette. Bill will not be able to make it.

So recapping if the weather is no good the run is still on but if we do not want to take the beasts out in the wet we can meet with the shopping trolleys at the Appin pub at 11.00am.
