G'day MADLT1...I have been snooping on some of the "other" forums, trying to get all the info that I can on the 2007 Corvette C6. I ordered one, and should be getting it in the 1st week of September. Hi Jo and MADLT1,

I ordered the 2007 Coupe in Machine Silver,(really love black, but I'm tired of washing so often) with the Titanium leather interior, 6 speed with paddle shifter, Z-51 performance package, navigation, chrome wheels 18" front and 19" rear, both tops glass and painted, and the 3LT accessory group which contains all the little goodies. Retail price came to $57,885. They sold to me for 1K over invoice. It's scheduled to be built in the week of Aug. 21st, 2006..:22

The trade in on my '05 Coupe was $40,500. This is my 5th Corvette from this dealership.

Hey MADLT1, I know, it seems so lopsided in the valuations of our money, and the car prices. I suppose it's one of the penalties of living in your beautiful country...I hope that some day soon GM fulfills their plan of making the Corvette with right hand drive, and installing GM dealerships in Australia, the prices would still be higher than in the States, but at least then there would be no high priced shipping, insurance, and conversions that the buyer would be responsible for. When I think of the inequity in these prices makes me want to, "go get 'em." :flower

The only way the dream can reach us if theres 400 to 500 corvettes allocated for the oz market each year then we might get our vettes at better pricing and designed RHD on their testing facilities.

My 2007 Z51 C6 Coupe arrived at the Dealership this past Monday, and I picked her up Wednesday of this week...;eek

After I get some mileage on her, and any early issues out of the way, I plan on having the Magnacharger SC option from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering installed...:evil
