Leadfoot Challenge
Winton Raceway
OCT. 28th.

Corvettes of Melbourne. Inc. CLICK ME for their web site.


Once again the Inter club challenge is on for all the revheads.
The track is booked for Saturday 28th. Of October.
At the Wangaratta Gateway Motel, Our usual haunt,
I have booked 30 rooms for Friday 27th.  No meal organized. Eat at restaurant or in town if you want to walk 10 minutes.
And booked 35 rooms for Saturday 28th.
Rooms for Friday and Saturday nights must be booked thru me only as to avoid confusion.
Saturday Night will be at Zippy’s Restaurant for a Smorgasbord meal again.
Sunday recover and return home.
Rooms are available for Thursday night for those who wish to do the private track day on Friday. Book this direct with the Motel on 03 57 218399

Costs:-
 
Track day Entry to drive plus 2 track meals Approx. $165    P/car = 2 People
Zippy’s Smorgasbord/ Presentation Dinner                 $ 25    P/person
Accommodation at Gateway Motel                            $115    P/couple P/Night

Sorry I am unable to be more concrete on the prices as I am still trying to crunch us a better deal.

Read the form!

Slicks can be used but that puts you in the "Top Gun" category whereas street legal tyres keep you in the "Club Class" so your runs count towards the Leadfoot Trophy.

Short answer - yes, you can use slicks.

Excerpt from the entry form:
Class

Club Cars will Run Treaded dot approved type tyres and points will be awarded towards Leadfoot Challenge Trophy

Top gun cars can have full slicks but only run in top gun class. No points towards Leadfoot Challenge Trophy [/i]
