C4 instrument cluster help
« on: February 07, 2006, 09:23:35 PM »
The "range" (distance til empty) gauge on my '86 has stopped working. It either displays 0, 1, 2, or 3. All other gauges work perfectly including fuel, inst fuel economy, average fuel economy and so on.
I've had the car for 8 years and the gauge only just stopped working on the weekend. Can anyone give me any pointers on how to get it working again or what the problem could be?

Problem fixed;27

I swear Microsoft must have had something to do with C4 computers!  All I did was "restart" the comuter (disconect the battery for a few minutes) and it solved the problem.

May be you need an "Alt Ctrl Delete" set of buttons. LOL!!  Glad ya fixed it.  Where did you find out you had to do that?
