Cameron 77C3:
Got a 3 speed auto in your vette.  Want to have taller diff gears to be quicker off the mark, but don't want to have your engine screaming its head off on the highway.  One of these might be the go.

I found this link in the latest street machine magazine.  Might be the go.   CLICK ME for the link

72vet:
Cam, funny enough, but I just got my T 400 replaced with T 700R4
The conversion took about a week with the only problem being
the exhaust pipes that run past the box into the crossmember
which were remade in stainless.
In the price -
Supply and fit the box & modify the crossmember
wide area 2nd & 4th gear bands
beast connecting shell
VT high energy 3rd 4th clutches
stage 2 shift kit ( fair banks )
500'' boost valve
corvette 2nd & 4th gear servo
2200-2400 rpm stall converter
plus service the T400 replaced pump,gasket & front seal ( that I think I have sold )
price $2700.00  ( not including exhaust)
Now she sits on 70mph (110kph) at 2400rmp instead of 3100rpm with
the 3:55:1 diff that's in it
4 speed auto with overdrive looking forward to some long drives now
& and not having to search for fuel.
;laugh;laugh

69VETTE:
