Brake parts availability

Can anyone tell me if brake pads & shoes off any readily available vehicle (eg. GMH) in Australia will fit a 73. If not any suggestions of suppliers would be appreciated.

I get my parts from them too until another member here put me onto a place in woolongong who import pontiac parts i think. just cant remember their name....      HELP MATT!!
They are so cheap and their service is absolutely second to none!
