Have you driven down the road got out come back to start the vette only to find all your lights come on but it will not start. Well this may help when the solenoid just clicks several times before engaging the starter, the large copper bolt that the power hooks up to is worn through on the inside. If you remove the solenoid you can remove long screws that holdthe cap on pull it partially out there will be wires still hooked up in back look in back side of cap & see if power bolt is half worn if it is loosen nut but do notcompletely remove it frombolt & you should be able to push it back into capit has the square shoulders turn it half around & pull back in tighen nut you have just rebuilt your solenoid that will last as long as the other side.:flower

Good tip. Usually I've see starting issues due to heat issues. My old '70 Camaro would do that all the time in the summer, when was hot out.
