Unfortunately thats us out we will be doing the last round of the Shannons nationals kerrick sports sedans that weekend. Ray at the last round we had really bad pad knock off and couldnt pick the problem so times were way off the pace. As we went around the back of corporate hill and braking into turn 6 the front left caliper snapped off and jammed in the rim and speared us off at about 190kph very lucky to keep it off the wall. It destroyed everything in the left hand front so we need some repairs. Up side is operation Azz Kikr is nearly finished game on.

Mate really sorry you wont be there but i understand ,we will miss you its always a great time when your there . Thats bad luck with the brake issue ,as you say could have been a hole lot worse ,im shaw the vette will be back bigger and bader than ever . I was at Oran Park when Rodney Crick exploded a brake drum on his  race truck destroid the rim and put him into BP bend not pretty . Hope to catch up soon Ray

    Leadfoot Corvette Challenge at Wakefield Park Circuit near Goulburn.The day's event will again be run by the HSV Club of NSW as it has in recent years, and entries will be able to be made on their website www.hsvclubnsw.com . There is a hockey tournament in Goulburn that weekend, so accommodation will be scarce. Ten rooms have been put on hold at the Mercure Goulburn, (formerly Trappers ) for both Saturday night 12th November and Sunday night 13th November. They are king rooms, and are $179 per night. Full buffet breakfast is available at $18per head.The rooms will be held for us until the 10th November, but could you please have your people book in early to avoid disappointment.Please book with Yvonne at Mercure on 024822 5445. Wakefield Park Raceway

The HSV Owners Club in association with Corvette’s Unlimited is holding  one of
its popular Drive Days at Wakefield Park Raceway on Sunday 13th November 2016.

The difference between our “Drive Day” and a regular track day or Supersprint is that there
are both timed sessions and untimed sessions where a passenger is allowed in the vehicle.
We plan to provide 4 timed sessions and 3 untimed passenger sessions on the day.

This day is designed for maximum fun with the safety of your car paramount. It is run in a similar
format to Supersprints where cars are grouped to go out onto the track based on speed & experience.

If you haven’t driven your car on a track yet, this is a great time to do it!

This will be the last of these days that we will run at Wakefield Park for the foreseeable future.

Still deciding if I'll bring the motorhome and trailer the Vette or maybe drive the Vette down and stay at Trappers (but then tyres are a hassle).
