C3 SUSPENSION

Now its my turn to upgrade my 1980 suspension. Been reading through lots of threads on here about springs and spring rates, i think i have that under control. Need to try to understand shocks a little better though. Seems that people have their prefenances on brands, but i'm trying to understand the valving and valve rates being suggested. Can anyone offer advice/ experiance  on this subject ??

If your going to keep the original trailing arms and front arms you can't go past bilstein shocks

Are the bilsteins easily adjustable?

No adjustment  just the best stock stile , in my opinion .
If you looking at full adjustable look at QA1  or  Ridetech

Thanks all, but i'm not trying to pick brands. I'm going to install a set of Aluminium gas shocks assembled by CSI in Indiana US. just trying to understand if there are preferences for piston types and if anyone can tell me what valve pressure range works best..
